A note of caution

If you wish to donate goods of any kind to the charity please note that it is better to purchase goods in the relevant country, e.g. Kenya, as this can be done by persons authorised by the school director or other responsible person known to the charity. Step-Changers International will only operate in this way. Goods sent from the UK, e.g. for the school, are the responsibility of the donor, so the charity will not cover any transport, distribution, import taxes or any other charges. (Sadly scams of this nature are rife and can result in charities unwittingly giving funds to scammers and criminal organisations.)
